At MF&NP, we are led by Tiffany Flory, an educator with a deep passion for bringing nature-based early childhood education together with environmental conservation efforts, introducing and a wealth of experience to her young mini-naturalists.

Meet Ms. Tiffany: As the driving force behind our nature-centered approach, Tiffany brings a wealth of expertise and a heartfelt dedication to providing children with a transformative educational experience.

Expertise and Credentials: Tiffany holds a Bachelor of  Arts degree from Grand Valley State University, with a double major in Group Social Studies and Education, along with a minor in Elementary Education and an emphasis in Geography. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Early Childhood Development with a ZA endorsement from Eastern Michigan University, her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth is unwavering.

Passion for Nature Education: Tiffany's journey in nature education is underscored by a Nature Teaching Certification from the Eastern Region of Forest and Nature Schools, as well as a Michigan Masters Naturalist Certification from MSU. With several years of experience in public teaching, encompassing both general education and special education across diverse age levels and demographics, Tiffany is uniquely positioned to provide a rich and inclusive learning environment for all children.

A Vision for All Children: Driven by a life goal and dream to bring the wonders of nature to children of all abilities and backgrounds, Tiffany is dedicated to ensuring that nature education is not only developmentally appropriate but also accessible and enriching for every young learner. Her belief in reconnecting children to their local community and environment is at the heart of our program, and she is committed to engaging families in supporting these vital efforts.
